This design was created from colored artwork. The design required a sophisticated technique called blending.
This is where we take the stitches and "run" the colors of thread together so that there are no hard lines of color seperation.
Not all software or digitizers are capable of creating these effects. The background was created using a "variegated" thread.
This is a thread that is multi-colored. To prevent the variegated thread from showing color patterns we used a technique
of running multiple fills one on top of the other at different densities and stitch lengths. There are 5 "Layers" of thread used
in this design for the background.
