I have owned my Toyota 820 for about 18 years and never had a problem with it. I recently took it to a Sewing machine repair guy because the timing was off. (that is what Panto recommended) Ever since that I have had the same problem that you are having. Panto even sold me a new security key for $160.00 + dollars and that hasen't helped either. I am as frustrated as you are. I have checked all the connections, changed the key, everything I can think of. I have been on the phone with Panto and they can't help me either, I am still working on it. keep us posted as to weather you found the problem. I will do the same.
