No, it's getting very frustrating. The machine is pre-owned, purchased out-of-state and my dad picked it up for me. He said it was run before he loaded it up and had embroidery samples to show me. It does not have a floppy drive. It has a serial port that says "computer" next to it. So, hubby purchased a new cord with the correct cross wire configuration and it doesn't work either. He had configured the computer ports based on the information he read online: 9600 Baud8 Data BitsParity NoneStop Bits 1Flow Xon/Xoff We are using the Stitch Manager software. He's wondering if it's the wrong software since the prior owner used Wilcom. I digitize using Embird but have been told that I need a program that talks to my 820 and thought the Stitch Manager was that. Sorry so long. Thanks for your response.
